A plasma display panel comprises an adhesion section 30 for adhering at least one part of a partition wall 14 and one part of a protection layer 9. The adhesion section 30 contains B2O3. A surface of the protection layer 9 contains boron. A back plate includes plural address electrodes arranged in parallel to each other. The partition wall 14 includes: plural vertical partition walls 24 arranged in parallel to the address electrodes 12 and across a display region and a non-display region; and plural lateral partition walls 26 crossing with the plural vertical partition walls 24. The display region includes a first region and a second region. The first region has the adhesion section 30 at a portion where the plural vertical partition walls 24 and the plural lateral partition walls 26 cross with each other. The second region is provided between the first region and a region where the plural vertical partition walls 24 are arranged in the non-display region, and has the adhesion section 30 on the plural vertical partition walls 24.
