Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic shaping material which chemically modifies a Japanese lacquer as such, increases strength while retaining the tint and texture of the Japanese lacquer in a material when mixed with a natural fiber of the material represented by pulp and, simultaneously, can be cured at room temperature without exposure to the high humidity atmosphere of an oven for the Japanese lacquer to effect shaping of a three-dimensional design and a free form.
SOLUTION: The plastic shaping material comprises, by wt.%, 30-65% Japanese lacquer, 1-10% compound having two or more amino groups at the terminals of a main chain or a branched chain of a hydrocarbon molecular chain and a reactive group having two or more straight-chain carbon atoms adjacent to the amino groups, and the balance being a natural fiber.
