To provide a platform plate with a guide fence for a man conveyor having easy attachment and detachment, and usable also as a safety fence.
The platform plate 10 disposed in a platform of the man conveyor and including the guide fence 20 is composed of a plurality of footboards 11 of same shapes. A pair of guide fence engagement holes is provided in each short side of the footboard 11, and guide fence engagement holes of the same interval as the pair of foot fence engagement holes in the short side are plurally provided in each long side. Each of the guide fences 20 is of the same configuration, and it comprises two vertical legs 21 and a horizontal shaft 22 connecting their upper ends. In the vertical leg 21, its lower part can be inserted into a guide fence joining hole, and an engagement means is included for allowing attachment and detachment of the vertical leg 21 and the guide fence joining hole. During operation of the man conveyor, the guide fence 20 is linearly attached only in a side of the short side, and during prohibition of boarding of the man conveyor, one part of the guide fence 20 attached to the side of the short side is detached, and it is attached to a side of the long side.
