Title:
PLAYING CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3387332
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a playing controller which enables a player to instruct sound production by the actions of the body and enables the player to instruct silencing by the natural and easily understandable actions of the body in association with the actions for the sound production described above.
SOLUTION: Shoulder sensors 11R, 11L are mounted at the right and left shoulders, elbow sensors 12R, 12L, at the right and left elbows and wrist sensors 13R, 13L at the right and left wrists. The player instructs the production of percussion instrument tones by bending and elongating the arms and the wrists. When the player instructs the production of the percussion instrument tones by bending, for example, the right elbow, the player instructs the silencing of the tones by the reverse action of elongating this right elbow. As a result, the player is able to instruct both of the sound production and the silencing by the natural and easily understandable actions.
