Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PM-type stepping motor which generates reduced noise when the stepping motor is driven.SOLUTION: The PM-type stepping motor comprises a stator 101 disposed between a front plate 116 and an end plate 115 and surrounding a rotor 104. The stator 101 comprises outer yoke 110 which is brought into contact with the front plate 116 or the end plate 115 and which includes plural pole teeth 110d standing at the inner circumference and juxtaposed circumferentially and notches 110e obtained by radially notching the portions between the respective pole teeth 110d. Plural cut-and-raised portions 115c formed at the front plate 116 or the end plate 115 brought into contact with the outer yoke 110 are pressed into the notches 110e of the outer yoke 110, and the number of the cut-and-raised portions 115c pressed into the notches 110e is 1/2 or more of the number of the notches 110e.
