Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PM-type stepping motor which generates reduced noise when the stepping motor is driven.SOLUTION: The PM-type stepping motor comprises a stator 101 disposed between a front plate 116 and an end plate 115 and surrounding a rotor 104. The stator 101 comprises outer yoke 110 which is brought into contact with the front plate 116 or the end plate 115 and which includes plural pole teeth 110d standing at the inner circumference and juxtaposed circumferentially and notches 110e obtained by radially notching the portions between the respective pole teeth 110d. The outer yoke 110 comprises affixed parts 117 affixed to at least one of the front plate 116 and the end plate 115 in the notches 110e, and the number of the affixed parts 117 is 1/2 or more of the number of the notches 110e.
