To improve braking performance on a wet road and a dry road, noise performance and wear resistance performance by setting the length of a carcass shorter than the theoretical length according to the balancing phase diagram of the carcass between the connecting positions of the carcass to a belt and a rim to secure balanced grounding pressure of the tire.
This tire is provided on a rim 10, and includes a bead area 4 having a tread 1, a belt 2, a side wall 3 and a bead wire 5 and a carcass 6. In this case, the carcass 6 is formed shorter than the length in a moderate and unbiased constitution according to the balancing phase expression or a balancing phase diagram in the side wall 3. The length set shorter than the length in the balancing phase diagram of the carcass 6 is adjusted between two connecting positions A, B of the carcass 6 to the belt 2 and the rim 10. The length of the carcass 6 between both connecting positions A, B is set in a range of 80 to 97%, particularly 85 to 95% to the length calculated according to the balancing phase diagram.
