To provide a pneumatic tire which can exhibit excellent anti-hydro-planing performance by generating many vortex flows in a groove upon immersing of water into the groove and can be obtained without complicated manufacturing works.
Grooves are provided in a tread. On the wall surface of the groove, tread rubber constituting the main constituent of the tread and at least one kind of rubber, which differs from the tread rubber in water-repellent-property, extend in the direction inclining by 10° to 60° against the longitudinal direction of the groove, and are exposed so as to be arranged alternately in the inclined direction. In the surface of the groove, the tread rubber and at least one kind of rubber, which differs from the tread rubber in water-repellent-property are exposed so as to straddle from the bottom surface to both-side wall surfaces.
