Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the surface-to-surface contact of the axial end face of a vibrator and the inner end face of the working chamber of a main body at the time of non- working and to prevent the adherence by flatly forming the axial end face of this vibrator and providing a pair of the inner end faces of the working chamber with projections which project inward in an axial direction.
SOLUTION: The disk-shaped working chamber 38 is delineated by the inner peripheral surface 32 of an injection ring 20, the inner end face 34 of an end plate 22 and the inner end face 36 of an end plate 24 and the disk-shaped vibrator 40 is freely rotatably housed therein. Compressed air is injected by an injection nozzle 46 to generate the swirling flow of the air in the working chamber 38, by which the rotating vibrator 40 is brought into collision against the end plates 22, 24 and vibration is generated. An insert member 64 is press fitted into the axial hole 62 of the end plate 22 and the projections 66 are formed toward the working chamber 38 from the inner end face 34. Similarly, a collar 8 is press fitted into the discharge port 58 of the end plate 24 to form the projection 72. The tight contact of the vibrator 40 with the inner end faces 34, 36 of the end plates 22, 24 at the time of non-operation is prevented by these projections 66, 72.
