The point service system for the taxis is constituted of a card reader-writer 1 with a printing function installed in the taxi and a customer card 10 for which the number of boarding fare points can be magnetically recorded and also printed on the surface. The card reader-writer 1 is provided with a read means for reading the number of accumulated points and a printing pattern recorded in the customer card 10, a means for inputting a boarding fare, a converting means for converting the inputted boarding fare to the number of bonus points, a calculating means for totaling the number of the converted bonus points and the number of accumulated bonus points by the previous time and calculating the number of the accumulated bonus points of this time, a printing means for printing a mark or a figure on the card surface, and a point imparting means for performing the extra allocation of the bonus points on the basis of the number of the accumulated points and/or the printing pattern.
