To provide a heavy-duty polishing article conforming complicated-shaped surfaces, having polishing force, leaving no deep scratches which might become a problem in later processes, and undamaged even by polishing the complicated-shaped surfaces.
An abrasive grain layer is formed on a surface of a flexible resin film, and a layer composed of resin having extremely high flexibility is formed thereon to compose the polishing article, in the polishing article. The resin film has thickness of 10-200 m, tensile strength of 30-130 MPa, and elongation of 3-250%. The abrasive grains of the abrasive grain layer are P280-P12. In the extremely-flexible resin layer, 100%M is 1-20 MPa, the tensile strength is 20-90 MPa, and the elongation is 250-1000%, in the polishing article.
