PURPOSE: To continuously produce bulky mixed yarns from homochromatic filaments having four different colors by melt spinning from a plurality of spinnerets arranged along at least two mutually separated vertical surfaces, cooling and stretching.

CONSTITUTION: Sixty homochromatic filaments having at least four different colors are extruded from spinnerets in which a first part is arranged along a first vertical surface of at least two mutually separated surfaces and a second part is arranged along a second vertical surface. They are melt spun to obtain mixed multi-filament yarns consisting of 3 or more homochromatic filament groups. They are cooled and stretched, to obtain the objective mixed yarns.
