Abstract:

To provide a polyester resin composition having high fire retardancy, superior in resistance to light and/or heat discoloration, suppressed in generation amount of toxic gas in combustion, and furthermore superior in thermal stability in melting fabrication.

The polyester resin composition having high fire retardancy, little in discoloration by light and/or heat, suppressed in generation amount of toxic gas in combustion, and furthermore superior in thermal stability in melting fabrication, can be obtained by making a thermoplastic polyester contain a triazine-based compound and a halogenated bisimide compound expressed by general formula (1).
