Abstract:

To provide a polyethylene terephthalate resin pellet which can be molded at a low temperature in melt molding and can decrease the amount of a by-product such as acetaldehyde, and to provide a molded body obtained from the same.

The polyethylene terephthalate resin pellet comprises a polyethylene terephthalate resin which (A) includes a dicarboxylic acid component other than terephthalic acid and a glycol component other than ethylene glycol in the total amount of 1.5-6.0 mol% as copolymerization monomer units, (B) has an intrinsic viscosity (IV) in the range of 0.70-1.10 dl/g, (C) has a degree of crystallinity in the range of 55-60%, and (D) has a spherulite diameter of 5 m or less.
