Abstract:
To provide a polymer alloy fiber which combines characteristics of polyolefin and polyester, reduces variation in diameter between single filaments, is excellent in mechanical properties ans abrasion resistance, is free from dyeing unevenness, and can be employed suitably for a fiber structure.SOLUTION: A polymer alloy fiber is formed of a polyolefin (A), a polyester (B), and a styrene-butadiene-butylene-styrene copolymer (C). The CV% of the filament diameter is 0.1 to 2.5% and the dispersion diameter of the island component in the filament cross-section is 1 to 1000 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
