Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a transparent polymeric ionic conductor having antistatic properties of excellent stability and sufficient mechanical properties without being affected by the external environment by dissolving an electrolyte in a polymer of a specified MW comprising a main chain consisting of specified repeating units. CONSTITUTION:This polymeric ionic conductor is formed by dissolving an electrolyte in a polymer of a number-average MW of 5000-200000 having a main chain consisting of repeating units of formula I (wherein R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, R<5> and R<6> are each a hydrogen atom or a lower aliphatic hydrocarbon group). It is desirable that the concentration of the electrolyte is in the range of 0.01-25mol% based on the above repeating units of the polymer. Desirable examples of the electrolytes include salts such as LiClO4, KaBF6, NaBF4 and LiBF4.
