To provide a polymerizable compound and its polymer which is unknown and satisfies requirements for the polymer used in antireflection films, such as a high light transmittance, an adequate glass transition temperature (Tg), a high melting point, an adequate density, a small surface tension, small water absorption, low gas permeability, sufficient hardness and remarkably high chemical resistance or the like.
The polymerizable compound is expressed by formula (1) and the polymer of the same satisfies the requirements. In the formula R1 is H, a 1-20C alkyl group or a 6-10C aromatic group, m is an integer of 1-20, n is an integer of 0-10, p is an integer of 1-41 and q is 0 or 1. An arbitrary -CH2- in the alkyl group is optionally substituted to -O-, -COO-, -OCO- or -CH2CH2-, etc., and arbitrary hydrogen atoms are optionally replaced by a halogen atom.
