Abstract:

To obtain a polyolefin-based fiber paper showing excellent dispersibility and defoaming properties and having high paper tenacity as a product having a good texture.

This polyolefin-based fiber for paper making is one comprising a polyolefin existing at least on a part of the surface of the fiber. A polyether amide-based compound in an amount of 0.03 wt.% to 2 wt.% is attached to the surface of the fiber. The polyether amide-based compound is attached during the production process of the polyolefin-based fiber.
