PURPOSE: To obtain the subject nonwoven fabric having excellent antistaticity and free from blotting of a mark written with a water-based ink pen by applying an antistatic agent and a resin to a specific polyolefin nonwoven fabric.

CONSTITUTION: The objective polyolefin-based nonwoven fabric having a contact angle of 55-85° with water, free from blotting of a mark written with a water- based ink pen and having excellent writing suitability can be produced by applying 0.02-0.5wt.% of an antistatic agent (e.g. methoxyalkyl phosphate salt and alkylalkylene oxide phosphate salt) and 1/3-10 times amount (based on the antistatic agent) of a resin latex to a polyolefin-based nonwoven fabric produced by a flush-spinning process and having fine and complicate cross-section structure. The nonwoven fabric is useful as a sheet for packaging material, envelope, etc., owing to its excellent antistaticity, waterproofness and printability.
