Abstract:

To provide polypeptides of Pseudomonas aeruginosa which may be used to prevent, diagnose and/or treat Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection.

There are disclosed SPA-1 polypeptide, SPA-2 polypeptide and SPA-3 polypeptide derived from Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and a method for producing the polypeptides by gene recombination using polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides. Further, there are disclosed uses of pharmaceutical compositions for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infection using antibodies binding to the polypeptides.
