PURPOSE: To provide a ball which is simply manufactured at low cost ad has an antibacterial performance without increasing the manufacturing process and is safely used in the open by children, by forming the ball by mixing an antibacterial agent in a polyvinyl chloride resin.

CONSTITUTION: As an antibacterial agent, that which does not damage the external quality due to such as dirt generates by reacting with materials for a polyvinyl chloride hollow hall is used. For example, it is preferable to use aluminosilicate of alkali or alkaline earth metal, or the like, however, it is all right to use minerals containing antibacterial metal such as silver, copper, zinc, or the like. The polyvinyl chloride resin sol for manufacturing the ball formed by mixing these antibacterial agents is put in a pair of left/light semisphere dice, and received lateral and vertical rotary movement in a ball manufacturing device, while being heated. Then, it is solidified into a gel having a prescribed thickness along the internal face of the dice and when it is removed from the dice, a hollow ball having antibacterial performance on its surface can be manufactured.
