Abstract:
To provide a porous body formed of a foam metal, which enlarges its surface area in a state of keeping a porosity of the porous body large, and can be used for various applications.
The porous body is formed of the foam metal which has a three-dimensional network structure and has a whisker-like substance formed on the surface of a skeleton of the foam metal. The foam metal is preferably Ni, Co or Fe, and the whisker-like substance is preferably a carbon nanotube and/or a TiO2 which have a photocatalytic function.
