Abstract:
To provide a porous compressed fibrous material of a tabular body, having high density, high surface smoothness and high tensile strength and, having air permeability and excellent liquid absorptive function due to continuous holes.
This porous compressed fibrous material is a tabular body obtained by compressing a web or a nonwoven fabric comprising a sheath-core conjugate fiber consisting of a sheath component of a low melting thermoplastic resin and a core component of a high melting thermoplastic resin and has 0.1-0.6 g/cm3 density and 0.05-0.3 mean frictional coefficient (MIU).
