Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide porous concrete for filter bed capable of securing high strength simultaneously with small amount of cement to acquire a high void volume and easily improving handling and quality control at a site.
CONSTITUTION: River gravel or quarrying of 8mm is used as an aggregate and also, normal Portland cement as a binding material, and furthermore, silica fume is used as a concrete admixture and also, a water reducing agent as a concrete admixture and the amount of silica fume is defined as 5-10% to the amount of normal Portland cement in an inner ratio.
