Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable and folding type data input device useful for both a complicate data input operation and a high speed data input operation.
SOLUTION: This portable and folding type data input device to be used for portable communication terminal equipment is provided with a first housing 10 having a first inclined face 12, a second housing 20 having a second inclined face 22 faced to the first inclined face 12, and a conical hinge means 30 positioned between the first inclined face 12 and the second inclined face 22 for connecting the first housing 10 to the second housing 20. The conical hinge means 30 is constituted of a first side hinge arm 31 and a second side hinge arm 33 formed so as to be faced to each other at the first housing 10 and a center hinge arm 32 coaxially located between the first side hinge arm 31 and the second hinge arm 33 at the second housing 20.
