Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for stacking in batch and inverting corrugated board sheets that is made lightweight by employing a sheet pusher device of the type having upper and lower feed belts suspended by chains, and employing an air cylinder for driving a pusher for opening and closing.
SOLUTION: The upper and lower feed belts 17a and 17b mounted in parallel relationship via a conveyor frame between opposite discs 53, and the vertical drive of the conveyor frame, are operated in conjunction by means of the pusher 62 suspended by the chain 61. A batch of sheets stacked is conveyed to the center of the lower feed belt 17b by the sheet pusher device 64 which rotates the chain 61 by the stroke of the air cylinder 63, and the space between the upper and lower feed belts 17a and 17b is closed to sandwich the batch. With the batch sandwiched, the discs 53 are inverted 180° to turn the batch upside down. The inverting device is thus made lightweight and capable of rotating at high speeds, and the batch of corrugated board sheets 3 stacked can be prevented from collapsing.
