Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3770497
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display separate three-dimensional game images in two different display devices by using a single three-dimensional image processing unit without generating flickering in the display screens in a portable game machine with two display devices.
SOLUTION: In a odd-numbered frame, the game image generated by the three-dimensional image processing unit is fed to a first LCD 11, and the same game image is stored in a first VRAM 21a. A two-dimensional image processing unit 37 feeds the game image stored in a second VRAM 21b to a second LCD 12 in the even-numbered frame just before the odd-numbered frame. In an even-numbered frame, the game image generated by the three-dimensional image processing unit 31 is fed to the second LCD 12, and the same game image is stored in the second VRAM 21b. The two-dimensional image processing unit 37 feeds the game image stored in the first VRAM 21a in the odd-numbered frame just before the even-numbered frame to the first LCD 11.
