To provide a portable terminal having a plurality of radio communication functions, capable of suppressing the electric power for power saving changeover determination and switching on and off of each radio communication function without setting up an external device.

A portable terminal includes: an information acquisition part for acquiring present position information and entry/exit determination information from a sensor set up at a gate used for entering into and exiting from a specific area; a travel path registration part for preliminarily registering the last gate through which the portable terminal passes when the portable terminal is carried to a prescribed destination; a destination determination part for determining that the portable terminal is carried to a prescribed destination when the portable terminal exits a gate and the present position information indicates that the gate is registered with the travel path registration part; and a setting changeover part for switching on or off of each radio communication function depending on the prescribed destination when the destination determination part determines that the portable terminal is being carried to the prescribed destination.
