Abstract:
To shorten the stand-by time of each of a plurality of users instructing post-processing.SOLUTION: A post-processing device comprises: a loading tray on which sheets received from an image formation device are loaded; an insertion port to which a bundle of sheets is inserted; a staple unit which can execute post-processing to the first bundle of sheets loaded on the loading tray or the second bundle of sheets inserted to the insertion port; a decision unit 357 which decides whether or not to permit execution of the post-processing to the second bundle while a job is executed by the image formation device on the basis of a job for determining the post-processing to the first bundle; and an interruption control unit 355 which causes a post-processing unit to execute the post-processing to the second bundle when the execution of the post-processing to the second bundle is permitted even in a case where the job is executed by the image formation device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
