Abstract:
To suppress generation of noise while reducing energy to be required for processing of a booklet.SOLUTION: A post-processing device processes a booklet formed by bundling a plurality of recording media to be ejected from an image processing apparatus. The post-processing device comprises: a first processing unit which performs first processing to the booklet; a load acquisition unit 415 which acquires a load to be required for second processing to be performed to the booklet before the first processing is performed; and an adjustment unit 421 which adjusts processing force to be applied from the first processing unit to the booklet in the first processing according to the load adjusted by the load acquisition unit 415.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
