Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device in which existing sheet end detection sensors can detect a remaining sheet.SOLUTION: The post-processing device includes a sheet conveyer that conveys a sheet along a direction indicated by an arrow A, sheet end detection sensors PS1-PS5 that are movable along a CD direction orthogonal to the A direction and detect an end of the sheet S in the CD direction, a punch unit 20 that is movable in the CD direction and punches a punch hole in the sheet S, a controller that causes the punch unit 20 to move along the CD direction based on the end position of the sheet S detected by the sheet end detection sensors PS1-PS5 and to form the punch hole in the sheet S, and a sensitivity adjuster that executes a sensitivity adjustment process of adjusting sensitivity of the end detection sensors PS1-PS5. The controller determines, prior to execution of the sensitivity adjustment process by the sensitivity adjuster, whether or not a sheet remains at the punch unit based on levels of output signals from the end detection sensors PS1-PS5, and when a sheet remains at the punch unit, outputs a signal to instruct display of urging removal of the remaining sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
