To provide a pottery tone glass bottle and a method for manufacturing it which is capable of mass-producing by suppressing a manufacturing cost, improving a precision of a finishing dimension, and providing a feeling of high quality.

The surface of a glass bottle is coated by a spray coating with a colored opaque coating comprising a thermosetting synthetic resin into which different color particles 21 and irregular particles 25 are dispersed, to form a coating film 20 by thermosetting. The coating film 20 has a pencil hardness of ≥3H, and dimensions of the different color particles 21 and the irregular particles 25 are 0.1-1 mm.
