To provide a pouch for a retort which is superior in heat resistance, pressure resistance, water resistance, a heat seal characteristic, pinhole resistance, pierce resistance, and other various physical properties, especially in a barrier characteristic for preventing the penetration of oxygen gas or moisture, etc., and transparency, which can bear heat processing accompanying retort processing, etc., whose container/packaging waste can be made light and small in size, which can be produced less expensively by shortening its production process, which is useful in filling/packaging various foods and drinks such as a processed food, processed marine products made from fish paste, a frozen food, a cooked food, a rice cake, a liquid soup, or a seasoning, and which is superior in content filling/packaging characteristic and quality preserving characteristic.

In making this pouch for a retort, a laminated material is made in a bag shape laminating a first barrier base material provided with an inorganic oxide deposited film and a gas barrier coated film at least on one side of a base film, a second barrier base material provided with an inorganic oxide deposited film on one side of a base film, and a heat seal resin layer.
