PURPOSE: To ensure the abrasion of the parts of a powder transfer device to hardly occur and make the powder transfer device compact for portability.

CONSTITUTION: A rotor 12 is rotatably clamped and held between upper and lower fixing seats 14 and 15, and a fluid introduction port 18 and a powder feed hopper 19 are provided on the upper fixing seat 14. Also, the lower fixing seat 15 is provided with a powder feed port 19 immediately under the fluid introduction port 18. The rotor 12 is provided with a vertically through-cavity 11 at such a position as superposed on the port 18 and the hopper 19 in a vertical direction. The cavity 11 is filled with powder via the feed port 19. Furthermore, the powder is discharged from a powder discharge port 20 on the high pressure air introduced from the port 18 to the cavity 11.
