Abstract:
To provide a power conversion unit having high operation reliability even in a temperature and a pressure deviating from a normal temperature and a normal pressure and capable of suppressing void in a sealing resin and peeling of the sealing resin to maintain high electric insulation performance, and a power conversion device including the same.SOLUTION: A power conversion unit U comprises: housings 5a and 5b; a heat sink 12 arranged in a space inside the housings 5a and 5b; a circuit board 2 thermally connected to the heat sink 12; a switching element 1 provided on the circuit board 2; and a sealing resin 9 filled in the space inside the housings 5a and 5b. The power conversion unit also includes gas barrier materials (20a and 20b) between the circuit board 2 and the sealing resin 9. A power conversion device comprises such a power conversion unit U and an electrically grounded frame connected to the power conversion unit U.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
