Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To level temperatures of switching elements of a bridge circuit.SOLUTION: A power conversion device comprises: a full-bridge circuit composed of a first switching leg in which a first switching element connected to the positive side of a DC power supply and a second switching element connected to the negative side are connected in series and a second switching leg in which a third switching element connected to the positive side of the DC power supply and a fourth switching element connected to the negative side are connected in series, where the first switching leg and second switching leg are connected in parallel; and a control unit for controlling ON/OFF of the first to fourth switching elements of the full-bridge circuit. The control unit performs switching of the first/second switching elements and the third/fourth switching elements so that switching with a mutual phase shift of 180 degrees is performed in each switching leg, and performs switching of any one of the first switching leg and the second switching leg prior to switching of the other. The control unit performs changeover so that switching of the other of the first switching leg and the second switching leg is performed prior to switching of the one.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
