Abstract:
PURPOSE: To extract a lot of fuel, which is suitable for a gas turbine, from a crude oil or a heavy oil at a low cost by heating the crude oil or the heavy oil after adding fine grain coal to it, cracking this under pressured and heated condition by a cracking reactor to obtain a low boiling point cracked fraction, and using it as a fuel for a combined cycle power generating gas turbine.
CONSTITUTION: A crude oil is fed from a tank 4 to a fine grain coal mixing device 5 so as to be added and mixed with fine grain coal. This mixed oil is heated by an exhaust heat recovery boiler 2. Then, the mixed oil is pressured and heated by a cracking reactor 6 so that a crack reaction is caused to provide an off-gas, whose main constituent is non-condensable methane, and a low boiling point cracked fraction, whose boiling point is less than 350°C. A part of the low boiling point cracked fractions is taken out to be cooled down by a heat exchanger 8, and is separated from a gas fraction by a condensing drum 9. Most of the low boiling point cracked fractions are led to the heat exchanger 8 from a flash drum 7. Then, the low boiling point cracked fraction is pressured by a compressor 10 and is fed to a gas turbine 1. In this way, a lot of fuel, which is suitable for a gas turbine, can be extracted at a low cost from a crude oil or a heavy oil.
