To provide a power generation device having excellent energy-saving performance.
A radiator unit 114 is connected with an internal combustion engine 101 driving a generator 103 by cooling piping 119. The radiator unit 114 is air-cooled by a radiator cooling mechanism 115. A liquid temperature detecting sensor detects the temperature of coolant flowing to the radiator unit 114 from the internal combustion engine 101. A liquid cooling control circuit controls the output of an electric motor of the radiator cooling mechanism 115 in the inverter corresponding to the temperature detected. Though the radiator cooling mechanism 115 consumes the electric power generated in the generator 103 and operates, the output is controlled in the inverter, and thereby the power consumption can be reduced. Since the power consumption is not intermittently generated like on/ off control, the electric power finally output can be stabilized.
