Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve energy saving effect by providing a load state detecting circuit for generating an output signal corresponding to a load state of an inductive load and a control circuit for controlling a conduction ratio of a semiconductor switch in response to the output signal. CONSTITUTION:The title controller is provided with a load state detecting circuit 32 for generating an output signal corresponding to a load state, and a control circuit 34 for controlling a conduction ratio of a semiconductor switch circuit 30 in response to an output signal and adjusting an output voltage in response to a load state. A semiconductor switch 88 is turned ON and OFF in response to a load state which is detected by a load state detecting circuit 32 and controlled by the control circuit 34 so that a load voltage and a phase difference of a load current always draw near a zero level. In such a way, the load voltage is brought to instantaneous control automatically and continuously in accordance with a load state, that is, the load voltage is decreased in proportion to the decrease of a load factor, therefore, an inductive load is always driven by a high power factor, and remarkable energy saving effect is obtained.
