Abstract:
This electricity storage system comprises: a first unit which has a first storage battery and supplies power in accordance with a first command value; a second unit which has a second storage battery and which is connected in parallel with the first unit at a position further to the load side than the position at which the first unit is connected, on the electricity line, the second unit supplying power in accordance with a second command value; a first sensor that detects current flowing on the electricity line on the system side of the first unit; a second sensor that detects current flowing on the electricity line on the load side of the first unit; and a control unit. The first unit determines the first command value from a value detected by the first sensor and a first target value. The second unit determines a second command value from a value detected by the second sensor and a second target value. The control unit sets the first target value and the second target value so as to be different values, according to the operating states of the first unit and the second unit.
