Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable charge control by correctly calculating a surplus current, without modifying the existing power distribution board.SOLUTION: A power storage system includes: a surplus current calculation circuit 6A which calculates a surplus current to a breaker 22, to generate and output a command value to charge and discharge a storage battery; and a current converter 6B which sets the charge current of the storage battery on the basis of the command value. The surplus current calculation circuit includes: a first calculation unit which calculates a difference between a total current value flowing through L1 and L2 lines and a set capacity of the breaker; a second calculation unit which obtains a minimum difference between the current flowing through the L1 and L2 lines and the set capacity of the breaker; and a set signal selection unit which selects either a signal from the first calculation unit or a signal from the second calculation unit, on the basis of a breaker type.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
