Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device capable of variably controlling the temperature gradient of output potential.
SOLUTION: When the output potential of a means 2 for adding 1st power supply potential Vx of which temperature gradient is (a) to 2nd power supply potential Vy of which temperature gradient is (b) is Vz=AVx+BVy (A and B are coefficients: expressions constituted of resistance values), the temperature gradient (c) of output potential is expressed by c=(AVx×a+BVy×b)/(AVx+ BVy), so that the temperature graident of output potential can be variably controlled by adjusting the coefficients A, B and the potential values Vx, Vy. Since the temperature characteristic of the power supply device can be matched with that of a liquid crystal display element to be driven by adjusting output potential adjusting resistance and input potential, display quality can be maintained against the ambient temperature.
