Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a press having a toggle mechanism and a mechanism for adjusting the stroke of a slide.
SOLUTION: The press comprises first and second sliders 34 and 40 arranged on a frame 14 movably in the vertical direction with a space therebetween in the vertical direction, a connection 32 for connecting the first slider to an offset part of a crank shaft 16, first and second link pieces 36a and 36b which are a pair of first link pieces 36a pivotably connected to each other in a bendable manner with one and the other of the first link pieces pivotably connected to the first and second sliders, respectively, a third link piece 38 which is pivotably connected to a pivotably connecting point of the first and second link pieces and pivotably connected to a plunger 22 extending from a slide 20, and a position adjusting mechanism 42 for adjusting the height position of the second slide in the vertical direction.
