Abstract:
To provide a pre-coating agent that can form an image without the exudation of the pre-coating agent, and an image formation method using the pre-coating agent.SOLUTION: A pre-coating agent of the present invention is applied to the surface of a recording medium to which an active ray curable ink is not yet applied in an image formation method using the active ray curable ink. The pre-coating agent has active ray polymerizable compounds, and a polymerization initiator.
