Abstract:
To provide a method for preparing a foam excellent in thermal insulating properties and flame redardance and, simultaneously, low in an environmental load.
This inorganic organic composite foam can be obtained by mixing liquid (A) comprising an aqueous solution of a phosphoric acid and, if desired, an inorganic filler with liquid (B) comprising calcium carbonate and a urethane prepolymer having an NCO group; pouring the resulting mixed liquid into a mold; and effecting foaming and curing in the mold. It is preferred that the mixing is carried out by a high pressure collision mixing method.
