Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a ketone and/or an alcohol by oxidizing a cyclic hydrocarbon having at least 13 carbon atoms by oxygen to prepare its hydroperoxide, and then decomposing the hydroperoxide in the presence of an organic metal complex.
CONSTITUTION: The decomposition is performed in the presence of phthalocyanine or porphyrin metal complex fixed on a carrier.
