To provide a process for preparing reclaimed foamable styrenic resin particles in high yield at the time of preparation and capable of reducing the COD value in preparation drainage, spherical reclaimed foamable styrenic resins and molded articles of reclaimed foamable styrenic resins obtainable by subjecting the same to foaming.

A process for preparing reclaimed foamable styrenic resin particles comprises dispersing styrenic resin particles obtainable by non- orientation melting and pulverization of shrink molded articles of foamable styrenic resins in an aqueous medium and impregnating the resin particles with an easily volatile blowing agent. In this instance, the dispersing agent which is used in impregnating the resin particles with the blowing agent contains an organic polymeric dispersing agent and a difficultly dissolving inorganic salt. Molded articles of reclaimed foamable styrenic resins can be obtained by subjecting the spherical reclaimed foamable styrenic resins to foaming.
