PURPOSE: To provide a pressing device which surely conducts pressing and fixing operations for covering most of the roll periphery during a winding operation, and allows a small tubular pack with high stiffness and being precisely wound to be produced and a roll of a final printed product to be easily ejected in a short time.

CONSTITUTION: A pressing device for a winding machine for winding printed products to be supplied in scale formation comprises at least two pressing belts 5.1 and 5.2 which cover a fun-shaped portion over at least 270° of the roll periphery. As a result, uniform strong contact pressure is exerted on the roll which is controllable in a special example. The belts 5.1 and 5.2 are completely raised by moving groups 3, 6, 8, 17.1, 17.2, 21.1 and 21.2, thereby allowing a full roll to be easily ejected.
