Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form small pressing-in device pressing a casing into the ground to form a vertical shaft and utilize a universal crawler type power shovel for excavation.
CONSTITUTION: This pressing-in device is constituted of a base 3 having an opening 2 through which a vertical shaft casing passes at the center section, multiple pressing-in hydraulic cylinders 5 erected on the base 3 and vertically expanded or shrunk, and circular holding members 4 fitted to the pressing-in hydraulic cylinders 5 and vertically moved when they are expanded or shrunk. The base 3 is installed on the ground surface, the vertical shaft casing is held by the holding member 4, the pressing-in hydraulic cylinders 5 are operated, and the vertical shaft casing is vertically pressed into the ground. The reaction at the time of pressing-in is received by a counterweight 7 removably fitted to the base 3.
