Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a primer compsn. which can form, on a metal sheet, a prime coating layer adhering well to an ultraviolet-curable ink and excellent in processability.
CONSTITUTION: This primer compsn. contains an epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 800-7,000 or a thermoplastic linear polyester resin having a reduced viscosity of 0.3 or higher and a methyl-etherified amino resin or a mixed methyl/2-4C alkyl-etherified amino resin in a wt. ratio of the former resin to the latter of (95:5)-(40:60).
